Well, we're a month into 2008 and I've finally decided to start up a new blog, and move on with it all after my 'South American Soul Searching'. After about 5 months of transition I think I'm finally on to the next stage, "North American Soul Searching" :).
What's that mean?
It means starting a PhD program at Berkeley. It means keeping in touch with all the things I did before I left and trying to integrate it all with the things I learned as I traveled. Its been no easy task, but as I've been telling everyone, I've got a good feeling about 2008. Not necessarily that everything will be easy, but that I don't know, I just got a feeling that this year will be an important one and that we'll be better off for it, and on a track towards something better. Try not to just interpret that in terms of presidential politics.
Ok, with that, I'm off to go secure my status as a real American and watch the superbowl.
